What are the correct Phosphate to Potassium ratios.

I was under the impression it should be :

Seed crops ... 2 Phosphate to 1 Potassium
Grass crops ... 4 Phosphate to 1 potassium

If I heard correctly in the recording, Dr. Skow says :

Seed crops ... 1 Phosphate to 1 Potassium
Grass crops ... 2 phosphate to 1 potassium

Can you please clarify .

Jon,

Thanks for offering the pre "Call to Arms" conference teleseminars, what a great way to lead into the conference in Shipshewana, IN.

I have a couple of questions for call #2.

1) I used too much compost in the garden, how do I lower the P&K levels?

2) Can you explain the benefits of cover crops/ green manure in the high brix market garden? Specifically, the value of setting aside a portion of field for a growing season, dedicated to green manures.

Thanks,

Ryan (Michigan)

After doing a plant tissue test, how do I determine what to apply in a foliar spray to assist my native grass?

I do soil testing each year and apply reccommended fertilizers, but my brix level still remains low: < 3%. How do I raise high brix grass so I can fattened my grass-fattened beef?
